Welcome Home to the Romanian School for Children from Ottawa and Gatineau

BandaMarVerticalTransparentNou

The Romanian School for Children in Ottawa and Gatineau wants to bring the Romanian language closer to every child and to keep the flame for Romanian culture alive.
At the Romanian School in Ottawa, children learn to write, read and speak Romanian. In addition, children make crafts, participate in class and school celebrations and learn Romanian traditions: Martisor, Easter, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, New Year's, but also Canadian ones. Occasionally, the children also meet in their free time because they are all friends.
I have often heard the question: "Why should I take my child to school on Saturday to learn Romanian?" The reality is that parents and children who have just arrived in Canada, out of a desire to integrate as well as possible, often speak English/French at home. Which I completely understand because I am one of these parents. But I realized that unfortunately in this way the Romanian language is slowly dying out.
The Romanian School of Ottawa comes to the aid of parents to maintain the Romanian language. It is well known that a child who learns more languages makes faster connections and develops a better memory, which leads to better results in school.
Once again: Welcome to the website of the Romanian School for Children in Ottawa and Gatineau!
